Guru Nanak Dev Ji
Guru Nanak Dev Ji was the founder of Sikhism and the first Sikh Guru, born in 1469 in Nankana Sahib. He preached the oneness of God, equality of all humans, and living a truthful, honest life. His teachings are preserved in the Guru Granth Sahib and continue to inspire millions worldwide.
Guru Gobind Singh Ji
The Khalsa Panth was founded by Guru Gobind Singh on April 13, 1699, during Baisakhi at Anandpur Sahib. He initiated the first five Sikhs, called the Panj Pyare, and established the Khalsa as a community of saint-soldiers committed to righteousness, equality, and justice.
Battle Of Chamkaur
The Battle of Chamkaur, fought in 1704, was a legendary confrontation where Guru Gobind Singh Ji's small band of 40 Sikh warriors faced an overwhelming force of approximately 10 lakh Mughal soldiers. Despite being vastly outnumbered, the Sikhs fought with unmatched courage and resilience.
